A healthy lifestyle has always been important to Erica Baxter, who graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Political Science. However, after working in a corporate environment for six years, she decided to pursue her desire to help people develop a more enjoyable life through careful attention to their lifestyle choices. In January 2007, she became a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer and began taking on clients in her home state of Maryland. Three years ago, she made the move to Greenville for her husband’s new job. It was a move that delighted her Raleigh and Clayton-based family.
Erica has a true passion for healthy living. She follows a holistic approach when working with her clients. While gaining strength, flexibility, and losing weight are great benefits of the proper lifestyle; it is the balance that it brings to an individual’s life that motivates her most. She enjoys her work as a personal trainer because she gets to witness an individual improve their well-being and realize their fitness goals. In the last year, Erica added a 220-hour Yoga Teacher Certification to her repertoire and has found great satisfaction in helping those in her classes develop a grounding force to face the physical and emotional challenges that life brings.
She currently teaches yoga and trains at Champions, iThrive, and The Absolute Studio, as well as in her client’s homes and offices. In addition, she teaches a Yoga for Cancer Patients/Survivors class at Escape Nail Spa.
Erica lives in Winterville with her husband Kevin and adorable beagle Parker. If you are interested in learning more, check out her website at www.baxfit.com or email her to set up an individual consultation at email@example.com.
